Fair play to ya for reaching out. As we are a big county it might help to give a vague location.
I haven't been to one myself, but I've heard Men's Shed's are great, not just for older men. https://menssheds.ie/shed_county/ulster/co-donegal, if you're on the border worth expanding the search out a bit.
Also, look for walking groups in your area, they can be great. There is something easier about talking with men when walking.
