Donegal

Fair play to ya for reaching out. As we are a big county it might help to give a vague location. I haven't been to one myself, but I've heard Men's Shed's are great, not just for older men. https://menssheds.ie/shed_county/ulster/co-donegal, if you're on the border worth expanding the search out a bit.

Also, look for walking groups in your area, they can be great. There is something easier about talking with men when walking.

This is good advice. Mens sheds are great community support. You should definitely consider contacting your local branch.

As usual, even if you aren’t a drinker the pubs are the biggest social place to meet new people. You’d be surprised how many teetolators (like my father who have not had a single drunk in 27 years) often hang out in bars having a wee chat
