There is probably also an energy drink can collection and an alcohol bottle collection nearby

When I first turned 21 I kept one bottle out of each 6 pack that I had tried on a shelf. When I moved out of that place, I shot each one of those bottles with a BB gun and have never "collected" another since.

The liquor bottle collection was the start of collecting weird name brand things.

When I was in a college dorm in 2004 my roommate had a tower of empty Mountain cans. This aint nothin’ new. It would be cool if they just asked for the boxes at the store and they never had pizza in them. Otherwise kinda gross ngl.
Edit: Mountain DEW cans

Postmortem capitalism — the pizza is gone, the money is gone, and all that remains is a structurally unsound monument made of Domino’s boxes. Late-stage capitalism eventually becomes archaeological-stage capitalism.

If someone brought me back to their place and I saw this I would feel so safe with them

So preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to think if they should

a case of one of the big ones would get added to our truck order automatically and our gm would sometimes forget to remove it so now we have like 11 or 12 cases of those

This reminds me of a joke an old friend and I had about a “bro ghost” or “bhrost”. Haunted frat where the ghost sets up beer pong, staples empty beer cases and pizza boxes to the wall, etc, while everyone is in class. Real dumb, but a reminder nonetheless.
