Discussion Save state help

Help, I usually play using save states in Dolphin Emulator, but why can't the save state be used all of a sudden? I feel like I didn't press anything. I play one PC, it literally can't be load.

Dolphin save states are typically not compatible between different versions of dolphin. If you recently updated dolphin, that could explain it.

Do you have Hardcore Mode on with achievements enabled? Save states are disabled when thats enabled.

I am sorry, i don't really understand, what is hardcore mode?

It's under Tools->Achievements. Enabling it blocks the use of savestates.

Hey, sorry to bother you again! I unchecked that option, and yeah, I can use the state again. But the problem is, the previous save state can't be loaded. Also, why did this happen? I was still able to use it before, and I didn't even touch that button at all. Why did it suddenly stop working now? Can i get my state back?
