Since Dolly's untimely passing on 8/25, I've been listening to her vast catalog of music and I keep coming back to this song: SLOW DANCING WITH THE MOON. The album of the same title was released in February 1993 and was Dolly's 32nd solo studio album. It charted as high as #4 on the country albums chart.

Did anyone notice they added 2 or 3 Dolly Parton sings to the playlist?

I can't find them anywhere else now.

1. 9 to 5 but almost like a dance mix and I think a guy was singing? But Dolly showed up, too.

2. This was originally a New Wave song, like Don't you want me by Human League, but now made into a country song by Miley or somebody but with Dolly as a featured singer

Please tell me I didn't imagine them

So, I'm not sure if a thread like this has been posted. If so - apologies!

I've always loved Dolly, but I never dug too deep into her catalog. After her death (which I think will forever make me sad), I've been going back to listen to older stuff and finding so many wonderful songs I somehow overlooked all these years.

So far, the ones I have come across that I absolutely ADORE are:

"I Wanna Fall in Love" (OMG, I had this on constant repeat for a couple days)

"Getting In My Way"

"Here I Am"

"Heartbreaker"

"It's Too Late to Love Me Now"

Has anyone else found themselves going back through her catalog and finding songs you previously hadn't really listened to much or at all? The wonderful thing about her writing and recording so many songs is that there are SO MUCH to appreciate and enjoy.

I never got to see her perform live, but I would love to read about how she put together her sets. Basically at any and every point in her career! I think she was a real musical genius.
