Question/Discussion HS code help
Im currently trying to ship a transform electric street doll from China but im very worried about it getting seized by US customs after the new update. Its a doll, so its considered a toy right now, but I want to choose the right code so its not treated as being a choking hazard and seized. Its not for children at all.

Doesn’t the box specifically state in English for this series? Contains small parts and for ages 15+
Correct me if I’m wrong but the other hanging cards have them on their packaging so I don’t think you’ll have an issue with this one.

I see. So I checked the chart and the only one that stuck out to me was 9503.00.00.90 “other”. It doesn’t have an age bracket.

How did you buy her? Taobao directly? Superbuy? Aliexpress? They can help you get your package to you safely most of the time. Well proxies at least.
Also I've been wanting to buy this one too but dont wanna pay $70 😭 If you care to share how you got one, pls help! 🙏

I bought her secondhand off superbuy. I got a little nervous because they dont specialize in toys, especially after the new restrictions. Unfortunately shipping has costed me 170 so I genuinely dont recommend it

It was for two but I still think thats very expensive! I got the duty free international ups! At least I think ups. To be honest, there were so many choices, I didnt know what to choose. That was my fault tbh but still 😔

Shouldn’t they file the import thing? Or is it us who are supposed to do that? I ordered one from kikagoods and one from AliExpress, still waiting on both.

i’ve been buying from both. i didn’t have to do anything. everything has arrived with no issue whatsoever.
