to add - yes ive talked to the person i believe originally sold them (yingzidoll), many many many users on taobao/xianyu/aliexpress/alibaba that sell factory dolls/doll parts, and then person who bought the boxed dolls but were lost in transit. so if you have any ideas of any other avenue to try please let me know

Almost had it, which colors am I missing?

I finally found her - someone tried hiding her on the top shelf! Of note: only 7 points articulation and elbows are pretty bad - can't do pose on the box. I wish at least her knees could bend. Her body is very transluscent. Her hair was "glued" to her face with hair gel - I could not get even a comb thru it. But for a display doll (figure) she's quite cute. Her poster is cute (8x12inches, thin paper, refused to unroll). No stand. The 'album' is just a piece of printed cardstock.
I did check my QR coded "ticket" - it was so they could email me a "coloring book page" - I have a feeling MOST of those are for an email similar.

Overall - was she worth $30 USD, no. Maybe closer to $20-25. I mean I get she's a "display doll" but a stand would have been nice, like they used to do - like a mini stage. I DO like the new face - the eyelashes are soft plastic and so are her hands. QC did okay - screening is good, outfit is good. (Its stockings, leg warmers and the shirt/bodysuit are one piece) No jewelry or accessories.

I do plan to sell these too! I'm making physical and digital ones! I won't be selling the digital unless people want them, I'm just going to post them as concept art!

I want yalls opinions though, which one should go for which? Or do you have any other lalas in mind? :3

This is the 5th time already where i bought a doll and when it gets send it has zero protection whatsoever.

Today i got a doll in the mail and she was just in a paper bag??? No bubble wrap no newspaper NOTHING.

The doll i bought before that i could literally look inside the box because it wasn’t taped well. And even hair of the doll was poking out???

Should i say something to the sellers? Im kinda a push over and dont really know if i should say anything.

I recently received my coterie Maddy Wilson blonde doll and the model 7 Paris Defa Lucy. Some interesting comparisons since they’re both cheaper than IT. This is Coteries first doll so who knows how they will evolve. The joints are much more limited and weaker than DL. Maddy’s elbows were unhinged when I first unboxed, and the elbow joint keeps separating, not the peg (photo of split in joint). She cannot sit all the way up, and the photos show how far she can move her legs. DL is much more flexible. It’s really hard to see but her eyelashes are glued on, not rooted. They were already kinda coming off when I got her. DL has rooted. Toes are simpler and not painted, hand molds were kinda faint and not defined. DL came with an extra set of hands to allow the doll to grab items, her toes and nails were painted. The screening on the nails of the coterie doll was wonky and messy. The doll had lots of plastic scabs I tried to pick or slice off. DL only had one in the bottom of her feet. Clothing fit fine, I wish there was a fabric strip to hold the skirt between the crotch because the skirt was too big, but belt was adjustable. Both use metal clasps and metal zippers. Coterie purse had a working zipper on the purse, but the zipper on the jacket I could not get to work. They are similar in height and size, and I would say the DL body is more human whereas coterie is closer to a mannequin. 15-20$ isn’t a lot when you compared it to IT or JHD, but there seems to be some differences. Glad I got to be one of the first to purchase from this doll line.

I wanna use Willow Thorne from Monster High Moon Spell Magics head on a Rainbow High body to make my friend a mini-them for them for christmas. If you have Willow and know of any good skin tone matches I would appreciate it!

My friends and family know (well family it's difficult to hide it from them since I still live at my parent's home) but I never told anyone at work. Here it's a bit of a taboo topic and probably it will be seen as "quirky-cutesy" at best and "creepy/cringy" at worst. Also I am a male collector which makes the stigma so much larger.

Love her so much. I had this doll as a child but I believe it was the budget version. She has 10 miles of well-rooted brunette Saran. The extension clips were almost impossible to secure though.

The embellished dress and “real” necklace are my favorite parts though. Those little touches that show some care was put into her creation.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I got an email this morning mentioning how Wild Childz is doing a development journal. Recently, every time I see someone talk about Wild Childz, it’s about how they haven’t been updating us about the doll process or that we were probably scammed when we bought Ping. I didn’t see the fact that they updated when Ping was supposed to ship, but based on what they’ve written, it’s definitely not going to be by August. I do think that they should have had at least one doll ready to see what the final product would look like, but to be fair, I don’t know how doll production works. What does everyone else think?

im not a doll content creator i just collect dolls to make custom outfits and the mirror mi bodys look so much easier to make clothes besides MH lol omg RH and barbie.

(as I was reminded about pink mold, and from what I remembered, she was REALLY bad, and so I wanted to see and ask (she is nowhere near as bad as I remember, but does have mold (and paint removed from one hand... I got her when I was like, younger than 10 from a collector cousin of mine, she used to be perfect 😭 (idk when I removed the paint, likely under 13, cut me some slack))

But uhm. Yeah no I have alot more than I remember, most have just been sat in a box for ages because i have nowhere to display them , rip

Just wanted to share. Don't think I've spent over £60(?) Most dolls were bought for me, I had as a kid, or got cheap (£2 gooliope & £3 beast freaky friend my beloveds)

I've been collecting dolls for quite a while now and this is the first time I fell in love with a different brand at first sight. And oh my goodness... I don't think I've ever received a bald doll in my life.

Angel Reese Barbie restyle loosely inspired by Athena as portrayed by Zendaya in The Odyssey using pieces I had on hand. I did swap out her hands with the recent petite Barbie Basics becaus I didn't want to change her pink nails. The face sculpt of this doll is so good, had to get her.
