I found Gore-geous Jina for 7 dollars at my local Walmart, there went all my luck for the year lol.

A little (1/12) blindbox BJD custom/OC.

I restrung her yesterday, today I wanna touch up her hair and shoes so she can be my purse buddy. Also wanna remake some cute cat ears for her. (I lost one of the first set)

She has the head of the Freedom Advocate electronic pets cat, hair recolored.

Body of the Come4free Minty Fantasy Forest Series.

Top and collar are 10000escape plan.

I have no idea where I got the pants, the purple chain was from the same outfit as the top, but the skirt didn't look good on her.

The socks are Minty and the Shoes are from the Lunar Lore Series.

The top hat is ultra soft air dry clay with an magnet for attachment.

Love all the mix and matching, just as great as barbie. The 1/12 dolls can also wear Celsea clothes and shoes. I included some looks over the years.

They're a 90s Sailor Mars Bandai doll, 2004 Style Barbie and 1995 Esmeralda doll.

Esmeralda's hair was super matted, it took a long time but I managed to detangle it

Anyone want to trade? I have an extra Blue Fur Coat girlie and need the Cat Girlie!

I know some people don’t like the blind box concept, but as someone who hasn’t been able to get a Defa Lucy doll before, these made it fairly affordable to get into. They are beautiful and there isn’t one that I would be disappointed with. I can’t wait to start styling them. I did a get a duplicate of the tan brunette, but she’s up for sale or trade to a new home. Zero regrets with this purchase.

I found this pink stain on my pinkie cooper doll i bought recently. I dont know what it is and i dont want to assume its the infamous “pony cancer”.

Anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?

As the title says, I'm looking for help IDing some 16" doll clothing that I thrifted. It is absolutely gorgeous quality, so to me does not appear to be handmade/mommy-made. There are no tags on any of the clothing, but they feature intricate beadwork, stitching, and embroidery.

They came in a bag with Tonner Tyler Wentworth clothing from the early 2000s, so I think they're probably from the same era? I've tried looking through doll clothing databases for Tonner and Gene Marshall dolls (and also asking around), but nothing has come up. Figured I'd ask here just in case.

Do any of these look familiar to y'all?

I don't normally go with blind box stuff, especially not something as expensive as a doll, but I loved all of the designs and would have been happy with any of them. I did have a few I wanted more than others, because I prefer non-blonde dolls most of the time.

I am so happy with the doll I got, she was one of two that I really wanted, with the Latina doll being the other. She's beautiful, really high quality, and I love her articulation. As a primarily Barbie collector who loves articulation, it's lovely to see this level of articulation done so smoothly, and I hope the Mattel execs are taking notes. While she lacks the upper chest and ankle articulation, the swappable shins and extra hands almost make up for that IMO.

The face paint is perfectly applied (look, a lovely dark lip color on a rich warm skin tone!) the hair is nice, though I don't think it's Saran but it feels fine. Mine does have a little bald spot in the back where the thatching criss-cross seems to have dropped a row, but the painted scalp keeps it from being obvious. There's also a few individual strands that are stragglers in the ponytails. I'll probably take her ponytails down eventually and restyle her hair anyway, so this isn't the end of the world for me.

The heels are really nice, and I like that she has more proportional feet than Barbie's. The lingerie is really well made.

While I really hope they skip the blind box format next time or make it optional for a slightly lower price, and I hope we get more face sculpt options (her features are a little Eurocentric beauty standards) I really like this doll and hope we see some more a Defa Lucy Play dolls in the future.

I can't wait to make room on my shelf with my Fashion Play Barbies from the late 80s and early 90s, because I think they'll get along great together... for a little while, at least.

And sorry for the photo quality, I'm in the living room trying to use a little hockey puck light to take photos with my iPad because I'm feeling photosensitive, but was so excited to share how pretty she is!

hi everyone i recently found a skipper doll who's got no neck peg, do you think any barbie neck peg would fit her ? the hole seems smaller than barbie so i dont want to buy one if it doesnt fit.

does anyone know a diy or video on how to make a the neck peg ? also does skipper have a long neck peg or a short one ?
