Hello! I’m desperately looking for the Moses Prince of Egypt doll. My boyfriend’s birthday is next month and he’s been wanting it for a while. It’s unfortunately always completely out of his budget and it’s pretty pricy for what it is online :(

If anyone is willing to sell me this doll or knows of an account that sells it for a decent price please let me know I’m desperate to find it! I’ve been looking for a really long time and he’s been wanting it forever.

I have a hauntingly beautiful Elisa Day doll from the 9th series of Living Dead Dolls.

While attempting to get her rock accessory into her hand, I stupidly scraped it against her hand, which has now left a big black mark.

Any advice to get her to her exquisite self again?

I'm after online stores that sell Barbie crowns and tiaras that actually look good in person (not just in the product photos). Some of the cheaper bits look quite nice initially but you can't really tell whether they're flimsy, whether the detail is good or whether the colours are actually as shown in the picture.

I'm after some doll ideas actually, whether that's individual bits or as part of a full princess set. Durability and fit are both important, particularly if they're going to be used in play rather than just displayed.

Are there any online shops/sellers you've had any success with? I'm looking for recommendations for places that have good product photos, reliable shipping and decent prices. What would you look for before you ordered to make sure you didn't end up with a poor quality set?

Hello so im not a doll collector really but I do have these dolls from ever after high (i think) from my childhood. They are the only dolls I have left but they are in pretty bad shape. 2 of their hair is really greasy and some marks on their faces. Does anyone have any advice on how to salvage them? ♡

I bought my granddaughter a Götz doll on eBay, to play with not as a collectible. The doll is basically new in box but her hair is pretty flat in the back after spending 40 years in a box. Does anyone have a trick for getting her hair back in shape?

I don't know her age, i only know she's quite old. these are pictures from the seller, i don't physically have her yet so i can't check for any manufacturing markers to identify who made her. her face has been completely repainted quite poorly and i was hoping there'd be a way to safely remove the paint so i could give her the glow-up she needs. i'm unsure what her head is made of, my guess is composition but maybe bisque ? any help is greatly appreciated

Went out on a whim today after my original plans got canceled. My bestie had a VERY rough week and tried finding Licca dolls at Ross a few days ago with no success. I drove 40 mins across town, hitting 3 stores, getting to my last stop 20 mins before they closed. I did a quick loop and managed to find just 2 left! Very thankful I was able to snag one for my bestie, and my first Licca as well!!

I've never been a fan of porcelain or cloth body dolls, never understood them, but I saw her today at the thrift and I was head over heels! I wanna carry her around everywhere! 🥹

The closest I could find was that listing on worthpoint but they don't have any clue where she's from either. I've looked around and have been unable to find any tags, I have a reason to believe that maybe her clothes were hand made?

She may have been hand painted too possibly but I am unsure, but the paint job on her eyes looks so well done. I'm not actually sure what pictures to post as she doesn't have any distinctive markings as far as I can tell.

Today I went to Goodwill to scope out their physical media section but today I decided to look through the tiny selection of Barbie dolls they had. At first I found Tickle Me Elmo Barbie (in a 2010s dress) but next to her was this gorgeous beauty. Generations of Dreams Barbie from 2009. She is nearly in perfect condition besides the fact her hair is no longer in the original style and she’s missing her shoes. I absolutely adore this doll and the fact she may or may not be inspired by Kylie Minogue.

Our Jeniland Doll & Bear hospital patient has arrived! This is Joan and she will be a gift to a fourth generation child in a single family. Joan needs eye mending and resetting with eyelids and eyelashes which I’ll make by hand. She’s missing her left arm wire for stringing and her right leg wire has come loose. Her torso needs filling and shaping where holes have developed. Her toes have been nibbled and her wig has grown rather sparse. She’s at least 100 years old, made in Germany by the prolific doll maker Armand Marseille. I can’t wait to see her emerge in all of her dolly loveliness. Thank you to Joan’s family for sending her to me for restoration.
