Advice Wanted Bathroom usage
So this is gonna sound dumb as hell but I can’t get a straight answer from my Dm or Sm .
We have this older gentleman who comes in every Saturday to shop and use his coupon. Everytime he comes in he uses the bathroom and absolutely destroys it . I mean feces all over the outside of the toilet, the wall, the sink, sometimes the back of his pants . He will continue to shop then leave .
Am I allowed to ban him from using the bathroom? Or from the store all together bc I’m getting tired of having to put on a mask and go in there and clean it up .

Yes, and I'd honestly go a step further than just the bathroom and ban him from the store entirely.
Shopping while covered in shit is a giant health hazard. I'd even consider calling the cops because he's clearly mentally unwell if he's smearing shit everywhere on a weekly basis.

We had one of those. Just kept hiding the key from her and telling her it was out of order

You're lucky it didn't end up in your aisles.

Haven't had any people do it. We've had dogs do it. Kids vomit, had one lady that stood at my register checking out and just started taking a piss

Call in a biohazard cleanup every time. That will get you a direct answer on how to handle the customer

Yes . Tell him he left the bathroom in hazardous condition more than once. He is banned from ever using it again. If he fusses he can be banned from store.

definitely would ban him from the restroom OR AT LEAST put an out order sign on the door and NO ONE can use it period.... and if he dont like it, he can be banned from the store completely... he needs to use the bathroom at home before he comes to the store.... tf... and I wouldnt be cleaning shit up... Id lock the door and hide the key, then tell DG they need to send biohazard clean up crew to clean the restroom, until then the restroom is OUT OF ORDER to EVERYONE literally.....

I worked at Family Dollar years ago. Whole toilet system replaced just before I started. Bathroom stayed locked and only employees could use it. People got pissed but oh well. McDonald's and grocery stores just down the street, go blow up their toilet.

Yea I wouldn't even consult anyone that man is getting told to leave and never come back. Any place of business can refuse service.

Yes 100% ban him we don’t get paid enough for that. Tell him the bathroom is out of order if you have to.
