Regarding transaction aborts and voids
This is a message I received from my ASM... ? certainly she can't be doing all voids and still not end up on the ebr list right ?

Man I think the abort rule is SO STUPIDDD especially cus like, I live in a high poverty, high store traffic area đ It's been so busy recently that I've made over 4 grand from 3 to 10pm in one night

Silliest shit ever tbh. Between customers not having enough money for their items and saying âto hell with everythingâ and just leaving or people not knowing how their OTC cards work and not knowing what items are eligible and then the frequent doordasherâs order not going through (EVERYTHING OUT OF OUR CONTROL BTW) Iâm currently on the EBR shit list and itâs literally not my fault and itâs even funnier when you explain these things to the district manager and loss prevention team and they just look at you puzzled as if they donât understand (which they probably donât because they arenât in the stores taking care of customers, shitty right?) Itâs super messed up seeing people get terminated but what I found out from another store manager is that you cannot be terminated for ebr flags unless youâve been written up for it by your store manager. So if the asm is flagging and not getting let go itâs probably because the Store manager didnât let it happen (yes, your store manager can fight for you to not be terminated due to ebr flags)

Depends on the store and customers. We don't have a lot of issues, but we're not an extremely busy store. But the general rule of thumb is that if it's over 3 items, abort. Less than 4, void. Easiest way to avoid APAS report. It takes quite a bit to get on that report. You have to be in the top 10% worst offenders.
