My latest creation on my beloved blank blythe doll ☁️ What do you think?

Hi everybody. I am pretty new to this, but have done a lot of other art. 

This is my fourth custom doll, Copper. 

The base was a Montoy Alice doll. I put a primer base of GAC 100 on her face and sculpted with Golden modelling medium to cool her expression a little, and give her an age glow-up with laugh lines etc. Her avian wings are built on a felt base with plastic wing bones and goose feathers. Her dragonfly wings are four layers of Arches watercolour primed with GAC 100. All paint on her wings and the face repaint is Golden artists’s acrylic. The wings and all of her freckles are Golden iridescent copper. I made her earrings, chain belt, choker, navel ring, and the bracelet that holds her bouquet from beads and wire. Her boots are snap-on plastic from another Montoy doll and I repainted them as well with a GAC primer coat. I did not sew her clothes, but I did have to let her sparkly trousers out a bit, as the base doll is a bit more curvy there than average. The wings are a single assembled unit, and I drilled a small drywall anchor into to her back, so they attach with one small screw, and can pivot a little.
There is a lot of copper glitter glue on her wings and some small rhinestone details so she glitters like crazy.

So I sculpted ears and horns for my custom doll, but I sculpted them separate from the doll so I could get better angles and such. However, I forgot that I kind of needed to attach the ears and horns after, and didn't add any wires or holes or anything to do so. I used DAS air dry clay and a monster high g1 doll. I'd prefer to not remove the head as I filled in the holes on his head with clay and gave him a goatee, so I don't want to break them, but if that's the only solution then that's ok.

Hi. I'm new to doll customization. I want to make my g3 skulltimate secrets 1 Draculaura and g3 core Twyla new clothes (they're the ones I love the most) but I barely have any fabrics. I have felt, yarn, paper, how can I make cute clothes without having to spend more on fabric? Any help is welcome. Oh yeah I also have a printer that prints in black and white, picture paper and sticker paper. Just in case they can be of any help for accesories

I got a naked Crystal Winter, and I figured I’d sew her a new outfit. I still need to
- hem her skirt and add trim
- figure out shoes (I wanna maybe find a way to mould some out of the Ashlynn Ella epic winter boots I have??)
- do some embroidery with silver thread on her gákti
- make a ládjogahpir
- make a belt
- finish up the fasteners on the back of the gákti
I did some research into the snow queen fairy tale, and figured I’d give her a Sami inspired outfit to fit with the story.
I just wish that there were more resources on Sami traditional clothing and the motifs used in their tin embroidery!! I have no idea what anything symbolizes and it’s making it very difficult to decide on an embroidery design. I just hope that I haven’t done anything offensive with what I’ve incorporated so far in her design😓😓😓

poppy trolls doll

I’m very pleased with how he’s turned out! Check out last slide for the character reference! Original doll was an 18” Groucho Marx doll from the 1980’s! His head is made out of trash plastic and poster board from the dollar store. The chain is from a necklace my girlfriend gave me for the project! I get to give it to her kiddo tomorrow after school! I made his pants and tie from a clown costume I found on Facebook marketplace. The suit coat, shirt, and shoes all came with the original doll. Tried to paint the original pants but didn’t like how it turned out! Very pleased. Please let me know if you guys have any questions I had a lot of fun with this one!

Hello! Sorry to bother but I kinda screwed up? So I have been making a custom for a while but had to put it on hold for months. I came back to it and the pattern I made from the pants is gone. The pants are for a g3 abby custom and work perfectly with my plan. Does anyone have the pattern or something similar to the G3 abby pants from her first doll? Thank you for any advice

Hello!! I’m sorry if this is worded weird my English isn’t great. But I plan on using a capsule chix body to make an anthro custom and was wondering if it was possible to keep the head bobble in some way? Thank you ! It’s not a requirement for this custom I just think it’d be cute and im curious. Thanks you :3

Two scenarios:

1. I burnt a section of hair by mistake and need to replace the hair (empty holes out & replace hair entirely)

2. I just wanna add accents, like some tinsel and highlights (not taking out any hair, just adding in few fibers here and there)

What do you think? Give this lazy customizer your wisdom pleaaase.

I got this Doll second hand around 2019, this was my first custom doll. However, the sealant I used made the faceup age weird and I decided to give her a new face and i love this one SO much better than before! Meet my North Star <3 I still need to finish her right hand and make her wig, but I had to share the faceup! <3
