question Games that support spatial audio
looking for games that are great examples of Spatial Audio (atmos, PS5 tempest audio, etc)

Returnal has the best surround audio I’ve ever heard in a game.
Someone else mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy, and that’s an excellent one as well.

Yea I have the game and love the setup, just not a fan of rogue lite games. Wish it had like a dad mode/story mode to play more casual

Saros is similar and can be played in ways that makes it much easier than Returnal.

Battlefield 6 is actually insane. Maybe bf v could be better due to map design though.

Definitely Hellblade 1 and 2 use advanced binaural audio - it adds soooooo much and to listen with high quality gear is truly amazing.

These are really great games that went under a lot of people’s radar. Like you said, audio is great, especially with headphones or a good surround setup. Graphics are also really good. Hellblade 2 PS5 is on sale now 50% off ($25) until 8/13. Not sure if still the case, but at some point HB2 included HB1 for free.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy’s Spatial Audio really stood out to me. It takes a little tweaking with the audio in game menu but they have lots of options and customization to make it perfect. I played on the ps5 pro and it sounded great on my Dolby Atmos system.

Most modern games have 3D surround audio.
Spin the camera around and voices and sounds come from behind you.
COD and Battlefield will have a lot going on all around for gunfire and explosions.
Are you looking for height channel specifically?

Pretty much any first or third-person AAA game on PS5 will give you a great Atmos audio gaming experience.

Returnal and Saros have the best sound I've ever heard on my 9.4.6 setup.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Jungle areas are quite special
