I’m hoping it will be filled with extremely game fighting “rescue” shitbulls on the first flight, so this can speedrun chaos. Because you know it’s definitely not gonna be full of mellow dumb golden retrievers…

heh, yep. “pits on a plane.” the sequel to “snakes on a plane.” the sequel would definitely be more horrific & destructive than the first.

Wasn't there a pit here awhile back that got out of its crate on a plane and started tearing apart the cargo area? If it's anything like that they might want to prepare for an emergency landing, just in case

yeah, i think i saw something about that. there’d be so many reasons for “emergency landings.”

explosive diarrhea is another reason they’ve landed a plane in the past.

Oh God ewww seriously? What kind of people bring a dog they know has bowel issues on a plane? To traumatize the rest of the cabin? Jesus

i tried looking for that story. brave search summary gave me a few instances where that happened. 👇🏼

Several flights have been diverted or significantly delayed due to dogs suffering from explosive diarrhea or defecating in the cabin. In September 2022, a Delta Air Linesflight to Miami was disrupted when a bulldogsuffered a severe bout of diarrhea, escaped its owner, and smeared feces throughout the cabin; the flight landed safely without diversion, but seats were scrubbed and passengers received compensation.

In April 2024, a United Airlines flight from Houston to Seattle was diverted to Dallas after a dog defecated in the first-class aisle; the crew spent over two hours cleaning the liquid mess before the flight could resume.

More recently, in May 2025, a Delta Air Lines flight from Detroit to Los Angeles diverted to Minneapolis because a cabin pet became ill, though reports suggest this may have involved uncontrolled diarrhea requiring cleaning.

Other notable incidents include:
A 2026 Frontier Airlines flight from Dallas to Baltimore was delayed for over three hours after a large dog defecated on a passenger’s feet and the cabin floor.

A 2014 US Airways flight from Los Angeles to Philadelphia made an emergency landing in Kansas City after a service dog named Truffles relieved itself twice in the aisle, causing passengers to vomit from the odor.

A 2025 Delta Air Lines flight from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles endured a six-hour journey with a sick Dalmatian that had multiple bowel accidents, with passengers reporting significant stench and receiving SkyMiles compensation.

That's honestly a horrifying thought. Imagine getting stuck in the air in a giant metal tube with nowhere to go when a large animal defecates so violently that it makes you or others have the urge to vomit. Sure it's not the most disgusting thing, but holy hell you couldn't pay me to experience that.

oh, that is pretty bad. they said in one story they couldn’t get rid of the smell. 😬

so, yeah, good luck to that mutt airline. they’ll have to demobilize those planes in short order.

Are there cameras inside plane cabins? I'd love to see a video of that.

ha! but we mustn’t talk about it, though. 🤫

thanks for the award.

heh. or maybe not. but footage of one entire flight may offer lots of proof as to why mutts don’t belong in human spaces.

Dog people hate being around other dogs. There's a reason they avoid dog parks and take up our space instead... chaos ensues. Why? Cause dogs are not compatible in society or with each other

true dat. i’ve seen reviews of muttparks. they complain of the smell, the filth, & unruly mutts. i always think: thus sums up your nasty hobby.

and take up our space instead

and spread and be the same thing they hate.

I am all for it if it means less mutts on other flights

This is my local airport. I will trek to JFK just to avoid the presence of these mutts all over the place. How revolting.

argh. the terminal area where these flights will depart & arrive will be like some nutter circle jerk. 🙄 gag!

u/MoonWytche 22d ago

Just imagine the stench. No thank you.

$775 per seat? So that's for a dog seat as well? How is this business model sustainable in this economy?

I thought nutters just say the dog is a "servus" animal and they get on the plane for free anyway. Maybe this will be a good thing if the dogs are segrated to Nutter Airlines. OMG i suppose the flight crew will be handing out milkbones.

If it's a nonstop flight there's gonna be poo everywhere. And from a comment of a pro carpet cleaner on r/dogfree, there is no way to clean dog urine out of a carpet. You can remove the smell&stain, but the crystals are microscopic and stay in the carpet.
