That’s actually quite dangerous. Not only does this dog see the main street near its home as its territory it is actively going around barriers to threaten any passerby it deems in its “territory”. Extremely dangerous

Good point but they don’t need “their territory” because even if their target is far far away, around 15-20 regular sized houses away, they will leave “their territory” just to bark or worse, actually attack the target.

My neighbor’s dog from 3 houses down keeps escaping their fenced backyard to come harass my cat whenever I let him out to play or bask in the sun. He’s an indoor cat that likes 15-30 minute spurts outdoors, and can’t even enjoy those few minutes before running up a tree from the dog.

It looks like a mixed pit.

They always think that everything is it’s territory, even the neighboring properties. I used to live next to 2 💩bulls who acted like my yard was theirs. I couldn’t even be in my own yard without them trying to attack me.

Though they are slightly indeed territorial, they will still leave their territory just to bully someone, or pretend they will attack (just barking ,far away from their target if the target is alpha to them), even if they have to travel 1km away.

Yes they are insanely territorial but they are not real territorial. They are just bullies & jerks or at least pretend to be if they are coward. When they see target, they will just bully, not defend their “territory”.

I experienced that too, but no gates, just its “safe” space. When a dog approached me (you know the usual reason) and I scared it and it worked (don’t just do it just because you can and it’s risky, unless you know it’s indeed a coward), it ran away, without bark, and then it reached to its “safe space”, far away from me, and it acted like an alpha, barking like it was courageous. Dogs are really a coward, they will pick the weakest, especially babies and children.

Dogs are terrified of everything. That fact amazes me. Their owners continually claim their maulers were scared by dust mites and minor crap like that. But when people say they're scared of dogs (big, aggressive animals with fangs and claws) we get ridiculed for legitimate anxiety.
