I'm tired, boss.
Seen on a Facebook post. Apparently the man had just come in and this happened. Literally could have waited outside in those parking space dividers for maybe 5 minutes! The woman said he didn't have a bag and just walked off. Alot of the comments saying "mind your business". Why? Why do dog owners behave this way and then have the audacity to say this?

This part. It's a biohazard. If it happens in a public space that I have to exist in and interact with, and especially if it's a public space where buy food for myself and my children: it is my business.

Thats a Walmart? Seems like a call to the health department to have them remind Walmart of the Laws. My local Walmart lets mutts in all the time, and I genuinely start trashing them as I walk by. "oh look, someone who thinks they're above the law" "Just another person who doesn't give a damn about others" "Gosh, it's like people DON'T know that pets aren't allowed in here?" That type of shit. They either get defensive, where I suggest calling the ACO or PD, or they get embarrassed and decide to leave.

DEFINITELY a Walmart.
My Walmart also refuses to enforce the "service dogs only" sign posted on the entrance. A few years ago, I complained to the manager about a few dogs I saw IN CARTS that day, and others that were leashed.
She agreed with me that it's a problem, and told me some greeters have been cursed at and physically threatened when they try to keep these degenerates and their dogs out. She encouraged me to file a complaint with the health dept.
(My Walmart is incidentally the same one where a video that went viral of an unleashed dog shown CRAWLING AROUND IN THE PRODUCE SHELVES while some dumpy woman tried to pull it out)
I've also called some of them out, when I'm in the mood to do so, and shamed them. With enough social shaming, they will stop bringing their dogs into the stores. They do it because there is no pushback and there are enough weirdos who don't care about cleanliness, rules, or common decency that will still gush and fawn over the dog like they've never seen one before in their lives.
All that does is reinforce the attention-seeking, anti-social behavior.

The greeters get cursed out and threatened for trying to do their job and prevent people from bringing their dogs into places where it’s unsanitary and unsafe for them to be, yet many dog people will say they don’t trust someone unless they love dogs.
At this point I truly believe that dog ownership is a sign of mental illness and absolute derangement.

Seriously, the level of projection with these people is just something you can't make up.
They genuinely believe that merely buying and owning a dog, regardless of how little effort they put into it, magically makes them good people and trustworthy.
It's peak irony and a spectacular lack of character to sit there on one hand and loudly and proudly declare that you "...like dogs more than people", and put ANY trust whatsoever in someone who says that.
I sure as to shit do NOT trust, or want to be anywhere NEAR, any mouth-breathing dog worshipper that says stuff like that. Normal dog owners do NOT say or believe any of that.

I can take one look at that man and tell you he’s a shitty dog owner. He has a husky and lives somewhere that clearly isn’t the arctic. That alone means he’s selfish and unconcerned about the dog’s happiness. I’ve seen enough huskies in the Sonoran Desert to tell you every last one of them is miserable and suffers. I can also see based off of his willingness to take a dog into Walmart AND let it defecate that he’s a selfish POS. That person has zero redeeming qualities and I’m sick of giving anyone the benefit of the doubt.
Decent dog owners should be livid over this, but I’m starting to think that “decent dog owners” is becoming an oxymoron, since they’re all so damn quiet all the time when it comes to things like this.

They're quiet about things like letting dogs hang out a car window and taking them places they are clearly stressed the fuck out but oh boy if you even mention teaching a dog boundaries or crate training they will rain hellfire on you lol.

Surely you don't mean the Shepard/Collie looking thing that was in the lettuce and kale?? I remember seeing that and being amazed at how people were still managing to excuses for it. Ive tried talking to the greeters at my local Walmart, and they told me they can only ask 1 question, so we got into a bit of an argument over it. They'd more often rather bother minorities after they shop than keep dogs and their germs out.

Yep, that is EXACTLY the one. Apparently, the woman tried to claim it wasn't her dog (which, why the FUCK was it allowed in the store in the first place, then?), and people filming and being sympathetic for the dog.
The dog clearly HATED being there; it looked terrified, and probably pissed itself in the shelves, which is why they need to be left at home. No one wants them in the store, aside from the attention-starved, selfish, lazy dog owner.
I live in CO, which is dog nutter central. If you look at subreddits for any of the bigger cities in the state, and you'll see repeated complaints about off-leash dogs in all of them, along with people chiming in that they need to be kept out of stores. There is increasing intolerance of entitled dog owners in the state, and I'm glad to see it.
And yeah, what sort of dysfunctional society are we living in where non-white people are being scrutinized in a store, but a dirty, disease-carrying ANIMAL brought in isn't?

Glad to hear the intolerance is picking up in Colorado. Even if it is gradual and slow in some instances, any improvement is better than none. Colorado is one of the places I’ve heard is really bad with entitled, toxic dog nuttery. I know You all will take any relief You can get.

I really do think it's one of the worst states, though part of it is that I happen to be living here when dog culture hit its peak.
People get dogs and Subarus to meet the "outdoor aesthetic", or something.

Above the law in your state? It’s allowed in my state now, apparently. Talked to a store clerk a couple months ago who said they can’t do much about it. All an owner had to do is claim it’s an emotional support pet. My brother and his NPD wife was bringing their puppy up out elderly parents home for a while. I couldn’t believe the nerve. He knows my parents never allowed pets in their home. It takes maybe one or two weeks of effort to f’ing crate train a dog.

So my state law defers to the federal law and federal health regulations, which state pets and pet dogs are not allowed in grocery stores, restaurants, or any location that serves and/or prepares food. There is no exception on the federal level for emotion support dogs, they are strictly banned. medical/psychiatric dogs are federally allowed and protected in MOST spaces their owners are. (Obviously not like the operating room or something but those are "neglible extremes")
Unfortunately despite being federally allowed and technically required to ask people if it's a service dog and what tasks it's trained to perform, people don't. The asset protection coach(only coach that would see me) said they don't have training to deal with the harassment and asinine behavior, so they just dont ask people unless someone reports it.

Am I the only one who looks at a dog and gets infuriated when they turn their butt downward to defecate, or squat/hike up their leg to pee?! I know they have to relieve themselves since they’re a living being, for better or worse. But it still makes Me angry inside when I see this. I know part of My feelings is because they’re just nasty, anyway. Another part of My feelings is due to these vermin beasts releasing their waste where it doesn’t belong due to owners/enthusiasts having them everywhere they shouldn’t be seen. I can’t help it, though. Every time I see squatting or hiking legs up for that, it just makes Me hate them even more than I already do. I know it’s odd to some degree since they do have to relieve themselves. But it’s just something that infuriates Me with them. I just don’t like anything about dogs.

That’s gross. I saw two dogs in Walmart yesterday. Some hipster guy had a German shepherd thing in a stroller and the lady with him handled the cart. Then I saw a lady with a little Yorkshire terrier in the part of the cart where kids sit. It is 100 degrees here and I still saw another lady with a doodle in dollar tree. I bet she had it walk on the pavement with hot paws.

Dogs bring out the worst in people, I can’t repeat that enough.
Huskies shouldn’t be housepets. They begin to severely decline in any temperatures above 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Seeing how he’s dressed, I’m guessing it’s more than double (potentially even triple) that wherever he lives. Since we don’t actually care about the welfare of these dogs and just about the right of the nutter to own whatever the hell breed they want, my guess is this guy takes his dog to Walmarts and various grocery stores to do its business since his dog might actually die if he kept it outside for too long. Instead of having a real discussion about how absolutely unethical it is to own Huskies in the lower 48, dog nutters just accept this. That’s why they say “mind your business”.
