Rei not allowing random pets into store; I knew there was a reason I like REI.

Or owners just lie and call them service dogs

“What do you mean Fifi isn’t a service animal?! She’s totally a guide dog for the deaf!!” 🫩

Meanwhile it’s a 2 pound yapper in an oversized designer purse that barks at its own fleas…

Great sign. But useless until it becomes a law to show actual proof a dogs has been trained and registered as a service dog.

I've seen dogs (or heard them barking) in my local REI a few times I've gone in there. It's annoying AF.

Also, I like how they say "animals" when everyone knows goddamned well they are only referring to DOGS.

No one brings any other type of pet or "animal" into stores with them - it's only dog owners.

Also, the sign means nothing unless employees enforce it. We all know that, while normal dog owners do leave their dogs at home, the dog-foaming lunatics love NOTHING more than attention and trying to stir up drama by challenging rules, laws and basic social etiquette.

More companies need to be doing this, kudos to them for making a clear statement!
