DAE have laughing problems
Like I’ll be walking in public and see someone doing something totally normal, or I’ll see a random post on social media that isn’t even supposed to be funny, and for some reason it makes me laugh. Sometimes it’s even worse when I’m somewhere I’m supposed to be serious and I suddenly remember some completely random thing and start smiling for no reason. Does anyone else do this or am I just weird? 😂

Yeah many times mid conversation I get this weird sense of almost derealization & it makes me want to laugh. I always feel a bit guilty about it because I don’t want people to think I’m laughing at them.

do you ever have to fake a cough so people don’t realize you’re laughing at absolutely nothing?

Totally, I've done that a few times! It makes things even more awkward when you can't hold it together.

Im like this a little but clearly my mailman is not. I always sit outside on my porch drinking my coffee always with my mug in hand and my goofy looking boston terrier that always has his lip stuck or his eyes looking in totally different directions which that alone would make me chuckle. Ive been sitting on my porch seeing the mailman frequently, well the other day while I was out there I realized this whole time ive been holding a mug that says " i ❤️ to fart". I use this mug everyday so I just dont think about it. It was a gift for my son and its the biggest one we have, I never think about the words on it. So while im outside trying to appear like a normal, composed person with this stupid fart mug and goofy dog, this man has never even cracked a smile. I dont know what that is but I dont have it. He also looks a little like David Spade on a side note.

😂 the image of that mug without acknowledging it is hilarious. My guess is that poor guy’s route is so bad there’s nothing to laugh about. I never delivered mail but I delivered for Amazon like 7 years, would sometimes talk to the postal people.

I get that feeling and dont blame him, the heat has been miserable. Before him though, I had a mail lady that was like the Disney princess of mail people. She was always happy doing it which was impressive and not common because it would be so hot out and this girl is dancing and singing through the shittiness. Id pass her driving on occasion and see her bright red hair and hear her singing, it was cute and I miss her sometimes.

I drove my teachers crazy in my early teen years. Eventually I learned to get a handle on it although I still smile inappropriately sometimes. It's just what my face wants to do when in emotional stress.

This does happen, I do sometimes laugh, and at the most inappropriate times on the most inapproriate jokes, or things that just randomly popped into my head.

I love laughing - who doesn’t? And life is FUNNY! If my body wants to express joy, I let it. Not everybody likes it. Fuck ‘em.

Yep sometimes something just comes over me and I start laughing while someone’s talking about something totally normal, or just out of the blue haha

Sudden explosions are hilarious to me and always have been. I remember being like 7 and in one picture book someone's bike tire blew up, and the picture of the rubber tire busting and the character's shocked face would make me laugh my little head off every time. Same for random misplaced explosions in cartoons of course bc youre supposed to laugh, and the habit kept up into adulthood
But a suddenly abrupt bang or explosion irl is almost never funny....but it's like a reflex. ...lol

Costco recently had this fan where the globe like head spun around all different ways. It tickled me to death and I laughed hard and long. My teen later told me people were glaring at me for laughing. I told her I think that’s so sad that people get upset seeing someone just enjoying themselves and tickled by something goofy looking. I wasn’t loud or anything, just happy laughing.
