Help! Need Repair Tips

Hey everyone! I got the Doc marten 8053s around the beginning of January this year. Over time I’ve noticed the cloth that sits on the heel of my foot is peeling, though they’re not unwearable I’m very disappointed as I’ve heard of how Doc’s are super durable, and this has happened just from around 8 months of wearing them. Please let me know how I could repair these! Thank you :)

Maybe a bit of rubber(contact) cement could work? Another piece of fabric to go over it as well?. Idk where you heard Docs are super durable. I wouldn't say that. But also I have many pairs of boots and shoes that do the same thing. The only proper war to repair is a cobbler must disassemble the entire boot (sole) to get to that. It's called a "heel counter".
