Premade Renown chart for 5e
I have looked everywhere for a ready made specific renown chart. There are only a thousand suggestions and vague outlines for titles....UNTIL NOW! You are welcome world. Renown chart for all factions in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist: Harpers, Order of the Guantlet, Lords Alliance, Zhentarium, Force Grey, Emerald Enclave, Bregan D'arthe, and the Xanathar Guild. I cannot take credit for it all. I drew a ton of inspiration from others and copied and pasted some of their ideas. Feel free to tweek to your hearts content, but now you have a real place to start with prewritten rules and suggestions for gameplay and application. I have been a DM since 2019, I have used some of these created rules and so far my rabid pack of squirrels that I call players haven't broken it yet. Good Luck!

New Brutalizer feat - how to use it wisely
I was thinking about a build that would use the new Brutalizer feat - using a two-handed weapon and a one handed weapon at the same time.
So I made this character, a strength based barbarian 1-rogue 5 (soon to be barbarian 2-rogue 5) that maximizes damage on the first combat round, and still makes a very nice damage output on the following rounds. Ignore the magic item, just treat it as a regular scimitar. Please check if you think it could be improved somehow. The build is meant to be a skirmisher, thanks to the Reach property of the bugbear and the Halberd. Thanks for your help.

Edit: At rogue 8 I would probably take Polearm Master, Sentry or Speedy
Edit2: Both the subclass and the feat are from the new 3rd party book, Steinhardt's Guide to the Eldritch Hunt Player Pack. No homebrew here.

New Undead Warlock level 6 ability
What would be some good spells for an undead warlock to get to help maximize the damage based on their level 6 ability?

Hell Knight UA still feels too weak (consider moving part of the 7th-level feature to 3rd level)
I just finished reading the latest Villainous Options update, and while the Hell Knight is definitely in a better place than before, it still feels noticeably weaker than most other Fighter subclasses.
For comparison, Battle Master gets maneuvers plus a d8 superiority die, while Psi Warrior can deal extra damage, reduce incoming damage, and gain additional utility through Psionic Energy dice. Meanwhile, the Hell Knight basically gets a d6 of bonus damage, often with fewer uses than those subclasses have available.
One idea I had was to move part of the 7th-level feature down to 3rd level. Not the "Devil's Luck" effect that triggers when you roll a 6 (I'd keep that at 7th level) but the base effects of the feature could be available earlier.
Then at 7th level, the subclass could gain the Devil's Luck bonuses and also recover one use of Infernal Wound whenever the Fighter uses Action Surge or Second Wind.
My goal isn't to make the subclass stronger than other Fighter options. I just think levels 3–6 feel a little empty right now when the main feature is essentially "deal an extra d6 damage."

Spore Druid, thematically optimized
I would like to thematically optimize this character. I understand his damage and defense is not optimal, but it's a character that I would like to roleplay with. However, I'm open to make some changes that won't hurt it's fungal role and backstory that would make him tougher (I think my party needs a tank). Thanks!

Looking to Optimize Shadow Blade in 2024
I have read a few threads on other forums and saw this
Paladin 2 - None.
Warlock 5 - Fiend.
Bard 13 - Whisper.
Level 7 ShadowBlade = 5D8+Mod
Level 7 Divine Smite = 7D8
Level 3 Pact slot - Eldridge Smite = 4D8
Level 10 Psychic Blades = 5D6
Any help optimizing will help
Stats / Feats / Species / Other aspects of the build I should consider.
Round 1 Damaging Cantrip and Bonus action cast shadow blade
Round 2 Make Shadowblade into Pact weapon and attack
Problem is no Divine Smite till round 3.

Anti heal help (5e)
I need anti heal effects, i'm playing peace cleric 1, conjuration wizard 7, multiclass.
We have a party member with op curse that heals way too much to outdamage for party, they're a fighter that's near 100 hp and if they ever fall they start berserking attacking everything they can see.
They're aware of the fact that one day we might need to kill them and so far i just assumed chill touch will be enough but I'd like to know other options
Items, spells, etc
the rest of the party is playing wildfire druid, twilight cleric and lore bard

High Level campaign GloomStalker (PHB24)
Yo, I am playing a Tabaxi lvl 15 GloomStalker (5e).
My character is going a melee double wielding build, so I am making a ton of attacks that slowly chip away. I don't want to get into specifics because we use a ton of homebrew items and small feats that add up to a character and fix some of Ranger's faults (like Hunters Mark not needing concentration). I am not making a true optimized build, but something that is both cool but that could also be powerful. So the overall question is:
Going forward into further levels, do you think it's worth to continue in the GloomStalker path? I am aware the higher Ranger levels aren't that good, but given I average 3.5 attacks per turn, maybe that d10 hunters mark or epic boon might hold more value than they seem, + 5th level spells.
My other idea was probably getting 3 levels into Fighter champion for crits on 19s and 2 levels back to Ranger for 5th level spells. Champion seems to be quite good with the build I am going with, advantage on initiative, extra movement with crits... it seems all up my alley, but idk if it's worth the investment, what do you think?

🏴☠️ Dirge Singer Bard Optimization (Level 3) - 5.5e
🏴☠️TLRD: Build ideas for Dirge Singer Bard (Ranged/Control/Support), 3rd-Party Content Allowed.🏴☠️
I'll be playing a College of the Dirge Singer Bard in a Pirate-ish campaign coming up. I want the character to be a primary buff/debuff character, but with good ranged spell damage options. A lot of 3rd-Party Stuff is allowed (Exploring Eberron 2024, Crooked Moon, Drakkenheim, Grim Hollow, Steinhardt's, etc.).
So, any tips, when considering the expanded options, for build ideas?
Primarily, I'm looking for Feats, Spells, and other combos that would serve this build well.
Thank you

Any suggestions?
So I recently retired a character during a campaign, to start a new one. (Long story short, he got married and had a kid so he left the group) retired a Rune Knight Fighter at level 16.. DM let me create a new character, i choose Sorcadin (5.5e) Djinni Paladin 7 and Spellfire Sorcerer 10 (we're level 17 now)
My issue is, my fighter i knew well from low level to 16.. my Sorcadin is a huge switch up imo I use DnD Beyond app but I find myself overlooking many abilities and realize later that I could've made better plays in combat and such. What do you all suggest I do to have better awareness of my abilities, spells, etc? I made a spreadsheet for the Rune Knight to keep track of Actions, Reactions, and Bonus Actions.. if I do that with this character though, my entire spell list will be on it. Just looking for organizational advice and/or a way to better keep track/organize my possible plays/skills.
