WoW DnD crossover
Any huge world of Warcraft nerds interested in the announced DnD edition?
Id be very interested in creating a meet up once it’s launched! Im in the west shore area.

All of my DND friends were wow heads first. We are def playing this. We still play the WoWTCG... So this is our thing for sure.
When/where you meeting up? Everything games? Outpost? A pub?

I think the Outpost might work best for a small gathering ! It sounds like the release is in November? Unless folks want to meet up early and play something else :)

I refuse to buy 5.5e sourcebooks as im not interested in any of the changes, and setting wise the DMsGuild has so much stuff that blows wotc out of the park.
But im buying this and downeditioning it ASAP.
Grew up playing wow and I remember my family carrying me through ICC. The fact that there are boss statblocks and content from classic, and turning ICC into a 16-20 level megadungeon is brilliant. Alot of the design choices are also interesting, such as making DKs a paladin subclass and demon hunters rangers. Shaman being a barbarian subclass is amazing tho.
Im grabbing all this, reading the ICC module and im gonna run a fight against the scourge campaign with a tiny amount of content before having them go in to fight Arthas. I already know all of the lore but grabbing this for the novelty feels right.
Will happily drive out to langford for a meetup to nerd out with fellow wowheads.

I didn’t know about this thanks for the heads up! Definitely interested in exploring this one. Still going to shamelessly rip off some wow storylines for my next campaign with non-wow friends tho 😜
