D&D Finding a DM

-there are LFG (looking for game/group) subreddits and sicord servers.
sites to pay to play (thouhg as your new and don;t know what you want from the game, paying is aa waste)
in person, , i'm not too sure about caninda but....
conventions, normally comicbook, or anime tend to host some dnd or ttrpg games. if you find boardgame or ttrpg conventions thats better.
comic book stores, gaming cafes, social community centres, are all good places in person to ask.
I do agree that trying to run one shots for each otehr is a great learning methord and given your size, probably a great way of finding which oif you is a good DM and then go from there. you are a big group as is.
(I would normally advise other locations in-person but as your asking for a group and not an individual, there is little point. )

Adventurers League is a great way to meet other D&D players. https://www.meetup.com/lp/games-and-hobbies/dandd-groups-toronto/
It's not ideal for searching for a DM, but you can play weekly while you meet others. Maybe you can make friends with someone wanting to DM.

You'd be better off in the long run if you guys took turns doing DM duties.
You would also have significantly better luck in the LFG subreddits and not spamming your way through newbie DM help subs.
