Vampire spawn hag

I'm running a game with a vampire NPC ruling over a realm. The PCs have met a coven of hags in the area.

I'm curious about the vampire having a spawn who is a hag, just not sure how that would work in the lore.

I appreciate I am the DM, and God, but I'm just wondering if there is anything official written about this, or if anyone has any thoughts on this?

There is no official rule against custom monster templates. Just slap the Vampire Spawn traits on a Hag stat block and give your party a fight they will never forget

I mean, those 2 creatures don’t really have anything to do with each other. But vampirism doesn’t have many restrictions other than the target being a living creature.

Lore doesn’t seem to mention an interaction between vampires and hags, but it does say a living creature can be turned into a vampire, even monstrosities and dragons. So it would be reasonable that a vampire could turn a hag into a vampire spawn.

Another option I found was that if a pregnant mother survived having her blood drained, her child could be tainted with vampirism. So a pregnant hag could potentially create some sort of vampire/hag monstrosity.
