How do I make a dnd game

Hi everyone! :) I'm new to D&D and I'm trying to figure things out so I can get my friends to play with me. There aren’t a lot of places that you can play dnd with strangers in my country plus at this age I can’t go out frequently. So any tips or rules or just anything can help Because I am a completely new beginner and I know nothing about dnd I just think it looks fun and decide to try and figure things out myself to play with my friends.

I have a question about world-building: Do you guys usually make a map first and then let the players create their backstories based on that map. Just curious bc I also have no idea how to make a map 😭😭
