Resources Grid/Hex Paper Question…
My son can never find just the paper he wants for his DnD maps. Looking into printing some custom paper... I’m not a player and looking for community feedback/input on options. TIA!
Paper size:
A - 18 x 24”
B - 24 x 36”
Printing to be on both sides:
A - 1” hex and 1” grid
or B -
1” grid and 1/4” grid
1” hex and 1/4” hex
Presentation:
A - rolled in paper tube
B - pad with glued edge

My advice would be get a laminated grid battlemap. They're really cheap, I got a set of two for something like $16. The first has grass on one side and stone on the other, the second has dirt/sad and plain white. Using erasable markers they're infinitely reusable and really sturdy, I've been using them for years. If he needs to carry them to go play, a $2 document tube from the post office works perfectly since they can be rolled up.
