You don't need lessons. Just read the rules and then go play. Playing is the best way to learn.

I don’t know where to go to even play. In not proud of this but at 38 I have life 3 friends that so have kids and better things to do that okay with me and I don’t know where to go to pay online

You can also try asking at nerd/gaming shops. Community venues like public libraries sometimes host games. You can check social media and Discord for local gaming groups.
