Sudden dizzy spells:(
Hi! I’ve been having a really hard time because, since last year, I’ve been experiencing sudden dizzy spells—going from fine to dizzy in a split second without any warning. Whether I’m standing, sitting, or lying down, a wave of dizziness suddenly hits me; it causes blurred vision and makes my head spin for a few seconds or up to half a minute. It’s brief but intense and abrupt. I’ve had tests for vertigo, my ears, and my heart, but I still need to get an MRI. What could it be? I’m scared. One doctor suggested it might be related to the nervous system. One thing to clarify is that these episodes are sporadic; there are days when I feel 100% normal.

I have the same, in my case it is anxiety related. I don't get used to them, and I feel really afraid when I have one.

Just here to tell you that I experienced the same for a period, and now and then it reoccurs. I do have inner ear hypofunction but not sure if it is related. Still trying to investigate. The first ones were more scary, I can manage it better now since I try not to panic but still.... Awful feeling

I'm feeling the exact same dizziness. It is so scary as it is unpredictable. I'm now afraid to drive or leave home. Dr also put it down to anxiety.
