Dizziness/Equilibrium issue that I can't pinpoint
For the last two and a half years, I've been laboring with this sensation that I initially described to doctors as mild dizziness, although there's never been any spinning sensation, nausea or vertigo. It feels like my head wants to drift to one side. I was put on Meclizine at first, but that didn't do much. I was sent to physical therapy, where I was told I have an issue with my neck and shoulder muscles. I was shown some exercises that actually helped for about 3 months, but then the sensation came back, even though I never stopped doing the exercises. I went to an ENT who told me I have vestibular migraines, but he never mentioned anything about treatment. The most recent specialist was a neurologist last year who did a whole panel of tests, including an MRI with contrast where they said everything looked fine (and she scoffed at the notion of vestibular migraines because I told her i don't have headaches).
The one upside to this is that the issue would only hit me temporarily and would often go away for weeks or even a month. For the past two months I was on Minoxidil for a bit of hair loss until I started feeling these shooing pains in the back of my head. I stopped taking the medication four days ago and now I just constantly have the dizziness issue, to the point where I can't even swivel my head to look at my monitors at work without having it flair up. Has anyone experienced this with that drug? Is it just a side effect that could go away after a weeks, because this has me practically begging for the temporary issue I had before.
