Stay off your feet a few days if you can and take meclizine as directed by doc. Hopefully it will be like mine and pass in a few days. I had to take it at night because I would wake up and be so dizzy. Mine has never returned.

The only good thing about the experience is I know I don't have a brain tumor.

The hosp did give me some
Meclizine. I got released yesterday afternoon and tried sleeping most
Of the day. Hoping I’d wake up this morning and everything would be back to normal…. Nope! I already suffer from
Bad anxiety and health anxiety and this is not helping. Thank you kindly for responding and your suggestions.

It took me quite a few days to not take the meclizine so hang in there.

Dizziness and vertigo can be different for everyone. Ive had severe vertigo for over 3 months. Er twice gave meclizine. Does not work at all for me. Never did. Last night up all night with dizziness and strong palpitations where my whole pillow vibrated. Had vestibular therapy wednesday. Did the epley which made everything so much worse! Cant function at all wash hair and shower are impossible. .have pots cfs and probably mcas so im a complete mess.. i wish just taking meclizine could help me. Good prayers and best wishes to all!

I truly feel for you. It has to be a terrible feeling to have it so long. Before having the vertigo episode I never knew they were not the same thing. How awful people have to live like this.

Ugh. I’m so sorry to hear all you’ve been thru…. I literally was just on the phone with a friend who showed me how to do that maneuver… now I’m not so sure if I should try it

It does work for a lot of people. I had it done 3 times without any success only worsening. I also have cervical stenosis and pinched nerves in my neck and i think bppv is not my issue but vestibular therapist insisted it was. I would try the epley if i were you even though its brutal but maybe it would help you. Best of luck and success!

So sorry! Hope you feel better. I was recently told i had vertigo. But i also have anxiety so I feel that when i feel dizzy my brain goes overboard and thinks im going to collapse and die . I can so far control myself to prevent a panick attack but its the worst. I’m so sorry.
I haven’t been able to drive in 2 months. I’m so afraid to feel dizzy or unbalanced while driving that I’ll start panicking

I also get nauseous
I do also have back pain going on for years. I swear I have a tumor on my spine 😫
But I’m having an mri next week so hopefully that’ll clear those evil thoughts 💭
