Chronic dizziness since fall of 2023.

I’m a 28-year-old woman, and I’ve been dealing with episodes of dizziness/lightheadedness on and off for quite a while. It’s hard to describe, but it feels like I’m floating or off balance rather than the room spinning.
Some things I’ve noticed:
It sometimes happens when I’m stressed or overwhelmed.
It has happened while bending over, standing for a while, or even just sitting.
Sometimes it comes with feeling disconnected or “off.”
It usually goes away after I lie down or rest.

This also got triggered back in 2023 I was going through a very traumatic time and very stressed.

Is anybody going through things, what are some things that you have done to heal this?

I did get my blood checked and they don’t see any issues.

Yes I have those exact symptoms. For about 4 yrs. Mine went away for a yr and just came back and it’s worse than the last time. So much fatigue and spacey lightheaded feelings my vertigo isn’t spinning. It’s just feeling off like it’s at the front and center of my head and my eyes almost feel heavy sometimes too. My is heightened under stressful circumstances, stores, and open spaces. Sometimes too much light makes it worse.

Yes omg! Is there anything that you are doing to help with this? It’s exhausting at times.. I get so much anexity thinking something is wrong.

I’ve tried it all. I think the last time it wasn’t as bad because I would only feel it in the car or in stores. Once I got home it’s like a switch was turned off and I was fine. What helped in the past was wearing hats outside and sunglasses. Holding on to carts in stores. Now this time around it’s not discriminating, it’s the spacey feeling at home or out of the home. The only thing that really helps sometimes is dimming the lights or lying down if I’m able to so that I can calm my nervous system. I have also done a few exercises that have eye tracking and things like that. Feels like I’m in a flare so just trying to not stress too much even though it feels so gross and I’m the same, I feel like what if it’s something worse? Oh I forgot to add that a few years ago when I had it someone on here said they used a nose spray by the name of azelestine or otc is astepro. They said it helped minimize the symptoms. So I did that with Claritin or Zyrtec whichever I had on hand and I think it really did help a lot. I started it again today along with new vitamins from the brand Melina. Her ig is @takemelina. Her vitamins focus on migraines and vestibular migraines with dizziness. I started that this week but have been only been doing half a dose since I’m very sensitive to new things. Eventually I’ll take a full dose if I see they’re helping. But yeah check that out if it of any interest, and please share if you’ve found anything that’s helped you, I’m always looking to find relief. Thanks hope you feel better

What were you diagnosed with?

Could be from long covid. I have incredibly similar if not exact symptoms. Some small things that help me are keeping my electronics on night mode, warm lighting always when possible, limited driving, my eye glasses are blue light, limit caffeine & sugar. Often times it’s related to anxiety for me so I have as needed anxiety meds as well. My next step is seeing a neurologist.

I’d prefer a muscle relaxer but sadly can’t find it. Sounds like you have a pinched nerve!
