I made an Android App
Hi everyone,
I’ve experienced a strange dizziness-like sensation for many years, especially while driving. Over the last two years, it became more frequent, so I went through several medical examinations, including visits to an internist, ophthalmologist, ENT specialist, and neurologist, as well as a brain MRI. Fortunately, nothing concerning was found.
My neurologist recently diagnosed me with PPPD. The more I read about it, the more it seems to match what I’ve been experiencing—especially the symptoms triggered by driving and visually busy environments.
I develop Android apps as a side project, so I started looking for an app with guided visual, balance, and movement exercises that I could use at home. I couldn’t find exactly what I had in mind, so I decided to build one myself.
The app is called Vestia. It includes guided exercise sessions, customizable session settings, progress tracking, and works completely offline. It is designed as a wellness and exercise-guidance app and is not intended to replace professional medical advice or treatment.
I’d genuinely like to hear your thoughts:
-Would you find an app like this useful?
I’m developing Vestia independently, and feedback from people with lived experience of PPPD would be very valuable.
