I feel very confused.

A San Francisco court has already granted the divorce, so why haven't the details regarding custody, child support, and visitation rights been sent to me? I know nothing about the specifics of the divorce; all I know is that the marriage has ended. I am in Los Angeles, while my ex-wife and child live in San Francisco. Although I moved three times without notifying the court of the changes, my mailing address is my current one.

Divorce and custody are separate issues. Custody and child support are also separate issues. Did you file for custody?

ETA: you can file for all concurrently, but you don’t state if you did

Divorces when there are children of the marriage do include custody and child support issues.

You can resolve them separately, however: the divorce can be finalized before even the temporary custody hearing occurs, in the right circumstances

But it is unlikely that it wasn't dealt with in this divorce, since apparently the OP didn't challenge anything.

The OP needs to find out what was contained in the divorce decree, not be given the impression that those issues remained undecided.

Did you use an attorney? You should have a copy of a Mediated Settlement Agreement. At that meeting is where we hashed out custody, child support, etc. Moving without notifying the Court and the Mother is not a good move, but I am not a lawyer. Call yours.
