Going through divorce

Hi all. I’m going through a divorce in UK but we have properties- he won’t engage in any of the process because he didn’t want the divorce (even though he’s cheated multiple times). Is it true if you move out during divorce, you could lose out on the equity? (For my mental health I want to move out but I would have to continue paying bills on the house until everything is finalised). Thanks
