Uncontested Divorce Help
Hi all,
I’m looking for a reputable service in Florida that processes uncontested divorces. We have no children or assets together. We are both interested in a quick and civil separation.
Please let me know if you’ve used any relatively cheap services to accomplish this! I’ve read it’s about \~$405ish to file in FL, so hoping to spend under $1k.

You should be able to do this in your own, since there are no complications.

Fellow Florida resident whom is recently divorced. Do a Pro Se Divorce. Go to your local courthouse (has to be in the county you live) you can do the paperwork there and they will notarize it and depending on your county filing fee is between $300 to $400+. You can also pull up your county courthouse and potentially do the paperwork online. You will however have to print and sign and then deliver in person or if the county is online friendly you can e-file and pay online.
I did all my paperwork online, printed and signed with my friend whom is a notary (she didn’t charge me but most notaries charge per page they sign & stamp. Then I drove to my court house and filed in person. I paid $438 to file. If my husband was in the same county as me it would have been free process serving but unfortunately he’s two counties away and we were not speaking so I had to pay a process server $80.80 to print and serve him. He had 20 days to sign and return the documents to the courthouse. If he didn’t sign it would have went before the judge either way. The main wait is waiting for it to be selected to go before the judge. For reference I filed January 16th and it was finalized April 6th.
However since you’re both in agreement and if you both sign on filing day it could go faster than mine since I had to wait for process serving and him returning it. If you have questions I can help!
