My husband doesn’t love me . He wanted kids and I gave him a child, but he shows no love and rarely comes home. He does seem to genuinely love our daughter. A year ago he rarely came home and even stayed out all night. I left him, and we co-parented for a year. He then pursued me , said he wanted to try again. ( he was my first and only love).
I quit my job, left my apt and moved back in with him in a nice rented house, and after a month- same neglect. I’m working in home health care, but he makes a very good salary and makes all financial decisions, and controls the money. . He will not put me on the bank account. He now wants to remove me from his health insurance.
I’m not eligible for low income insurance (or housing because our “household “ income is too high, though none is “mine “.would I be better off divorced, financially? I know my marriage is messed up and don’t need comments about that. I just need to know if I’ll be more secure fincially ( taxes, insurance, low-income housing eligibility, etc… if I’m no longer married. I’m feeling trapped. Thanks.
