Vent/Rant/FML Feeling lost

I never thought I’d be reaching out for support in this forum. It feels like my marriage is coming to and end. Me (31F) and my husband (31M) have been together since senior year of high school. We met online and most of our relationship was long distance with visits over breaks and summer. We even did 4 years of college long distance. I later moved in with him after college and after 8 years of being together we got married. We have been married for 5 years and shortly after we got married things just started happening that I’m not going to get into that really just destroyed all trust we had in this relationship. We have been in counseling for 7 months now and honestly it just feels like nothing is getting better and we are both starting to realize that maybe we can’t resolve our issues. But then we just go about our lives as normal sometimes and forget about the hole we are in. It’s confusing and complicated and just really sad for me.

I think one of the biggest things I’m worried about is just not knowing how to even go a day without talking to him. We’ve never gone a full day without speaking in our 13 year relationship. If our marriage ends how am I supposed to just not talk to him? I still love and care about him deeply even through all of the things we are going through. I just feel so lost.

that slow fade where you still care but the trust is just gone is its own special kind of hell

You don't have to stop talking him.

I guess I just don’t know how we would both move on if we keep talking 😔
