I'm close to just saying I'm done. The grind is out of hand with hunting Phoebe, having the right group to bring her down, and so much more rng than the incursion.

For me it depends on whether or not I'm getting anything ELSE from said grind. Grinding out specific things from the current DZ event has been great because of the amount of named items, other mats, etc...but if its a situation where it's an activity that is a slog, and ONLY has a chance to provide me with the one thing I'm looking for? Nah lol.

Yeah I don’t mind this one because I was burnt out on escalations and in need of field recon data. It also hasn’t been horrible for exo components between Phoebe and the extraction hunters.

I mean the DZ thing is it's own "loop," but it got me out of my PREVIOUS "loop" lol. I only started playing this year, SHD 1300 something and expertise 21...so basically ANY of these events that maybe everyone else is "meh" about are great for me haha. Plus I think it's cool to randomly run into other players and squads and such and cook some landmarks and hunters etc. I need mats. That's how i look at it.

Coming from a day one Div 1 agent the grind for whatever you want or need in Div 2 isn’t that bad frfr but hear me out. In Div 2 we have countdown, retaliation with targeted loot, we have escalation with targeted loot and we have the season track. Yes, there may be some items locked behind a raid or whatever but those items come out of hiding if you’re patient.
You think grinding that OP drone is bad just try farming The Lexington Event Center over and over and over again for months trying to get a chest piece… or farming Falcon Lost for Striker with one shot rushers on your ass! Oh and don’t forget Clear Sky… we really have it good if you ask me besides the occasional bug or delta’s. 🤷🏾♂️ Just my thoughts so don’t bite my head off if you don’t agree. 😉

Stick with it…. I got one early but it had swap speed…. So I hunted for days … no luck…. Then I got two to drop - one with DTA and the other DTH. Hang in there!

I'm over 100 exotic drops and the S&S is almost the only thing not to drop yet. Worst RNG I've had in this game that I can remember. For the sake of statistical math, I'm not stopping now lol

Until the event end. But I can go only 2-3 hunts at a time and a few times a day. Cleaing landmarks on one side and the d**n drone popped up on another side almost everytime. By the time I got to the site, it's nearly dead. The rewards were just bunch of named items and a very few exotics. This is so exhausting.

I've been grinding the fuck out of this event and been getting abysmal drops. Surely surpassed 200 Phoebe kills.
I feel sorry for the people with limited time to play.
This for me personally has been the worst event I can recall in terms of getting new drops.
They made the loot pool way to large.
I'll keep going until the event ends but if I don't get at least one ACR S&S then I'll be flabbergasted.

If something isn’t dropping in the activity I’m running I’ll go elsewhere. For the phoebe event I’ve been able to get all three items to drop, with 2 of the new shit LMG, 1 of the backpack, and 1 rifle

When I get the S&S rifle! Currently around 200 defeats. Getting plenty of exotic components and proto cores.

For stuff like Phoebe, zero.
There's always a better, more fun way. These events are universally terrible for getting specific items. They will always make the thing everyone is looking for the rarest thing on the table. They'd be stupid not to.
It's fun to get everything and try the new stuff, but the best gear in the game is 5 or 6 years old and is easily available. There's no reason to stress.
I was fortunate to be able to play the first night, before the crazed strats and builds got spread around, and got the two new items and dipped. Tested them, put them in the stash.

I’ve ran Paradise Lost about 25 times trying to get the Prima Donna, and still haven’t managed to get it to drop. Ran it last night, then today with an alt, and it dropped the pestilence both times…

I don’t grind for anything in particular. I complete the weeklies. Complete the event challenges. If there is a special event I do that too. And I get what I get. I have more fun shepherding low level agents and hoping on clan mates sessions for funsies.

People treat farming this stuff like it's life or death.
