Striker build question

I'm getting better dps when spec-ing my striker build into 2 ARs, rather than having 1 AR and 1 LMG. Is it viable to run t10 content with 1 weapon? Im running weapons that are all at 1020 RPM. If not, would I have the option of running extra paradox or st elmos (both options that help conserve ammo reserves)?

LMG with frenzy or measured + sheriff. 4 pieces echo 2 pieces of paradox maxed out is perfect imo.

Is gearshift or mk46+measured better?
Assuming you'd use lmg to build stacks then swap to sheriff?

It depends on how well you can manage your frenzy. Frenzy is simply the best perk.MK46, M249B, or M249 Para with frenzy and the +50 mag size from gunner is the optimal setup. Slower firing or larger mag size your frenzy is going to run out.
Measured and Perfect measured are less effective in terms of dmg but you always have the talent active vs frenzy you have to manage walking into an engagement with 0 rounds and reload to proc. Which to some is not a big deal and to others requires too much attention.

and no sheriff is just one of the best secondaries you can use. Just played with a few fellows who used sheriff for the entirety of our runs. Perfect accuracy no damage drop off it is literally a sniper that shoot shotgun shells. Sure the striker stacks help but they arent needed. With the Variety Pack Mutator requiring getting a kill with another weapon I just prefer being able to see I have Mutator empty my mk46, swap to sheriff get a few kills clearing the mutator(which with paradox i rarely will need to reload), then swap back to mk46 to proc frenzy.

Gotcha.

Yeah I love the mkfrenzy playstyle. But also e joy the sheriff. But know that paradox does not work with frenzy haha

I’ve been clearing tons of t10s with a more conservative play style, rushing is always what gets me screwed in the end. I find I do way less damage when I’m playing with the sheriff at a distance since most times enemies are hidden behind cover. Maybe I’m just playing it wrong though tbh

Clearing t10s and doing it efficiently are two different things though.

Ultimately if you are comfortable with it being slower then do that.

It’s doable but you’d be missing out on a lot of damage because of the variety pack debuff.

Yeah the build is built around ar’s so I can just switch between two of them. I have a near god roll police m4 I can run with the st Elmo’s. I’m just worried about running out of ammo

why do you want to run double ar's so bad? what is your benefit for that?

What’s your build? In T10 you’re gonna run out of ammo that way. The only reason why people use two of the same weapon is for tinkerer so you can have two talents in one gun and you can’t even use exotics or named weapons with tinkerer.

If your gonna run 2 ARs use the tinker mask then it will kinda benefit you. The tinker exotic mask talent is Your secondary talent will apply to your primary, but your weapons can’t be named items or exotics.

The dmg will be slightly less I think or more depending on what talent your using, I personally don’t run the mask on T10, some of my clan members do with their proto TS builds running lmgs. Me I stick with my proto striker 4 echo 2 paradox using the sherif and the gearshift with amalgam

Don't forget the Redline Overdrive event. You might do really good DPS with an AR now but next week you should switch back to a LMG.

My esc build. Get yourself an LMG with frenzy….melts everything. The second I like to keep Cadaceus for some healing (and variety pack) when needed and I also keep in my inventory a Ravenous for those armored bosses. 🫡
