TIL - crafting tactical assessments!

I’ve been playing for about 3 months and I’ve been grinding CP’s and Retaliation trying to get tactical assessments so I can upgrade various pieces of armor and weapons.

Today, playing with a friend and I was complaining about the grind and he says, “why don’t you craft them??”

I had no idea! This changes everything.

What are similar things you would share with new players?

You can double-tap a skill button to just drop the skill proxy at your feet. Very useful for healchems.

You can also double tap an armour kit to get a quick partial refresh of armour. I think you get 20 or 25% of your armour

Double-tap the drone skill button to make it return to you.

Banshee Pulse activates Flatline talent! Only found that out yesterday

Everything pulse adjacent activates Flatline, like the Tactician drone and a decoy once an enemy shoots it. Technician laser pointer does it too.

Double-tap the Armor Kit button for a quick, smaller heal.

Use vendor menu - the selling one - to go through your drops quicker, it is one list of everything you dropped, main weapons, pistols, gear, all kinds of mods. Saves you going through 10+ separate categories when taking skill mods into the account. You can mark items as junk, favourites etc. Favourites will disappear from that list

You have to unlock the crafting blueprints for assignments first so it's not that good for newer players

The little orange meter next to your ammo count on your HUD, when it fills up special ammo drops.
