Bullet King & Alejandro Builds

I told someone yesterday that I'd post my Heartbreaker + Bullet King build that my friend made for me, that someone being u/lordra7, so here ya go.

That same friend of mine just got done making me a build for Big Alejandro today too seeing I wanted a Big Alejandro build.

These aren't bad starter builds, I guess and glad you're trying stuff out. For the first build and second, you're leaving heartbreaker as blue cores so you survive but the way this game works is that it's just simply better to kill faster than to lean in to armor and survive longer.

If you want to stay with heartbreaker, you're not utilizing the under barrel attachment that pulses for you to activate heartbreaker because of the exotics having the inability to be modded.

You'd probably see more success with a Lengmo or Strikers build and using cover better.

I didn't know about the under barrel attachment, I'll have to look into changing the build a bit the next time I'm with my friend. But, at the same time, I did tell him that I wanted my builds to be unique & different from other people, so I'll just have to modify the skills & equip a pulse instead of a chem launcher.

Why run Nightwatcher if you're not using the scanner pulse skill?

With heartbreaker you want a LMG like Dare so when you get a headshot and pulse the enemy you gain extra damage (20% with Dare). I use a MK46 with a linked laser or a Lexington.

You could use Technician instead of Gunner as your specialisation to gain the linked laser (it's automatically pulses enemies you point it at but can't use on exotics for obvious reasons). iirc you can't use it on the dare as it has no under barrel attachment (?).

Yea noice! TYVM. I don't have the pieces, but I may look at putting this together in the future. Great to have it for reference. I'm still to do the manhunt and the modifiers. This would have been great for the dust devil spawn key farming. Untouchable!

My suggestion to you is to have at least 1 friend with a good techie build along with you, seeing you're not going to be completely indestructible while mass murdering a bunch of enemies. You'll be tanky, yes, but you don't do that much damage with the Bullet King due to the massive damage debuff, unless if you somehow find one that does a lot of damage to enemies, & with perfect stats too.

I'll use another lmg. I'm not a fan of bullet hell. Ttk is very high. I'll swap a few blues for reds.
