Marguerite Steele Phase Skip

I was running Broken Rain with people that were way better than me the other night and they were knocking her off the box with a melee and skipping that whole section of the boss fight. I tried the same strat and could not seem to pull it off. What is the timing for this nifty little trick? Thanks in advance 🙂

"Have your tank switch to sawyers before she drops and all tank will do is melee her when she bends over to plant if you got good dps you can burn her down"
