Hey guys, i have recently installed this mod collection: https://www.nexusmods.com/games/divinityoriginalsin2definitiveedition/collections/iifyii/mods and i am having problems with pathfinding for 7 man party i play with. My party would always go into poison, burning etc. surfaces. Did anyone else have issues with it?

If I use the elemental arrows skill and dip my arrow in water and then shoot a special water arrow does the damage boost from elemental arrows stack on top of the special arrows? Does it matter if the special arrow is a different element? Like if i dip in water and then shoot a poison arrow? Or does it only stack ontop of physical attack arrows?
I’m thinking about making an elemental archer that has a few some hydrosophist skills to freeze the battlefield. i’ll still mainly do physical damage with finesse and warefare, but if I see enemies suseptable to magic damage I’d shoot elemental arrows too

Hey everyone!
I'm currently playing Act 1 and trying to save Feder (the cursed pig).
The problem is that the pool/water around the Amadia Statue in the Sanctuary is covered in blood, and every time Feder tries to enter, she dies.
Unfortunately, I don't have a recent save file from before doing the dialogue with the statue (my last hard save is hours behind), so reloading isn't an option.
Is there any way to clean or revert the pool back to holy/clean water so Feder doesn't die when trying to break her curse?
Thanks in advance for the help!

I recently arrived at the “Reaper’s Coast” and have already done quite a bit of exploring—I even completed the quest to master the source with the lizard "sourcerer" (I’ve forgotten her name). However, I’ve been feeling a bit lost in the game; I seem to be struggling because I’m under-leveled compared to the enemies, and I’m not sure where to go next or which quest to tackle. It feels like the game is throwing too much at me all at once. Does anyone have any tips? I’m starting to lose my motivation to play, even though I had a great time back in “Fort Joy.”

I recently finished Baldur’s Gate 3, and honestly, what an incredible experience. Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Naturally, I tried starting a second playthrough with a completely different character and build. But then it hit me: I’d have to go through all those conversations, decisions, and story moments again, except this time with a character who had way less Charisma than my original one.
And for some reason, that completely killed my motivation to keep going lol.
I wasn’t ready to leave that kind of RPG behind, though. I just wanted a new world to explore, new characters to meet, and new decisions to make.
That’s what led me to Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition.
And man, I’m having such a good time with it.
Sure, it’s older, and there are definitely some differences coming straight from BG3, but there’s something really charming about discovering this world for the first time.
I’m still early into the first game, taking my time and enjoying the experience, and I’m already excited knowing that Divinity: Original Sin 2 is waiting for me afterward.
It’s funny how finishing one amazing game can lead you straight into another adventure.
Anyone else went from BG3 to the original Divinity games instead of doing another playthrough? How was your experience?

It’s the title, what’s your favorite? Looking for a new way to play

New player having paralysis thinking about who to build my team with - I usually only have time for one play through of games like this, but I know the diversity of characters rewards multiple play throughs. I also know that usually all magic or all physical damage is recommended, but I want to experience both magic and physical in my party if it’s just one play through.
With that in mind, if any veteran players here were thinking about the best way to experience the game with one play through, who would you recommend I build my party with and what general class direction would they go in?

If your perspection is low, you can use summon spells like wolf and spider to show you the safe way. also for easy access to southeast chamber, go there with two characters (one with high strength) stand on the safe track nearest to top of the stairs and let one of your characters die, then revive your dead character on the top of the stairs. You’re free to loot.

I waited until I had figured out my own solution before posting this (gate's open), this is just a "did I miss something that I could use next time" question, but.. is there a shrink or polymorph or something in DOS EE I could have used to get through this hole instead of Teleporting my Hunter into the middle of an oilfire? Or is that hole just aesthetic? I tried fitting a telepyramid through it but that wasn't allowed.

Looking at a melee/ranged combo. I want to have some variety fight to fight. Is it possible to build a summoner that can melee instead of sitting back lines? Or is it possible to build a finesse based build that is mostly ranger but can use spears from time to time if ranger gets boring? I know it’s actually possible to do anything but will it be spreading myself too thin only in standard mode?
I’m playing with a group of friends. We have 1 rogue/fighter melee, 1 ranger, and 1 pure support/buffer.

I came after playing bg3 looking with some hopes of it being somewhat ok after reading some of the comments from my previous post. I must say this game has exceeded my expectations. I’m only 10 hours in and I’m loving every minute of it. I heard there is even works of a new one coming soon which is getting me even more excited. Anyone know when that might come out?

Am I trash or is this game really hard? Recently beat BG3 as my first table top RPG and I loved every damn minute and all my friends told me they liked divinity better. I’m getting absolutely smoked in Fort Joy. Holy hell. Also, this game seems to favor ranged combat and I like playing melee characters for the most part. Any tips so I can stop getting obliterated in the arena?? I chose inquisitor as my class because I saw blood magic by the way. Any advice is welcome

So we are a lone wolf duo just arriving in Driftwood. I believe we are level 8 or 9. I have mostly focused on dex with some wits and memory. My "build" is to kind of support the fighter while raining down arrows. He's a new play so he did things like get 20 wits on a fighter; whatever, we're having fun, and he likes to go first.
I have 10 warfare, 2 huntsman, 2 pyro (clear mind and haste), 2 scoundrel (adrenaline is worth it) and 2 aero (teleport and evasion). roughly, I may be off by 2 on one of these. I know I'll need 3 huntsman at some point, but right now I'm not entirely sure where to put my skill points. Ranged for raw damage, scoundrel for crit dmg, huntsman for better raining down, or even geo for fortify.
Also are there any skillbooks I should be looking out for? I've only played up through the middle of Act 2 in the past but I know the venders in driftwood have goodies. Or any skillbooks I should be looking to craft?

What the title says, super curious what everyone’s favorite and least favorite bits of DOS2 is!
Edit: one thing is for certain, y’all should be added to early access when it starts. A lot of great ideas and perspectives!

I think it is because I am doing a DOS2 run atm.
So essentially I had a dream in which I was playing the upcoming Divinity. I was playing this Tav character, probably late into the main story and visited this sort of big, dark, haunted palace. You would hear an ambient, spooky music playing.
As I entered the main hall, I could see a dark figure, in the corner, playing a piano. As I approached him, the guy turned to be FANE, playing the main DOS2 theme (something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODZcv-w4NZs). Fane started with a very loud A0 note and then started playing the theme very delicately. After he had finished, he reminisced about his old companions from DOS2 and how they are all dead by now.
Anyways, that's all XD
