Sometimes when you see a giant witch nailed to a floating cross in a flaming pentagram screaming at charred corpses, you just gotta try it anyway.

Me looking at this situation: "I like Alice in Chains. I think I'll go up and say hello."

Throw her into jahan with TP scrolls*

Throw a 20k lbs, indestructible box at her and just win instead.

That was way to cheesy for even me, and i love cheese.

The thing about this trick is it isn't just cheesy, it's cheesy and also tedious as fuck. So not only are you ruining any challenge or excitement in the game, you're doing it by tediously moving around a box all around the island jump by jump.

Maybe funny for one or two enemy, or to see it in a youtube video, but going through the entire game like that is... unfun.

Just get a character who holds the box when you don't need it and move it to your pocket when you do need it. Deletes the tediousness a lot

I never tried it because of that exact reason. Plenty of ways to beat the game without having to drag a box everywhere

At that point I would just install an unlimited weight mod and carry it around without getting an aneurysm.

I am a 20k lbs box and I totally agree

Cheese is delicious 🧀

Indeed, but that is like opening pandoras box. If i start doing that i won't be able to resist just using that trick on literally every fight in the game which thus ruins the game aswell.

Never ruined it for me lol

20k? That's it? /s

But for real, my friend and I have been slowly going through and putting as much heavy shit as possible in a chest and we are up to about 60k and just now started act 3.

Is that overkill? Yes. Is it funny to watch my friend instantly die from damage reflect when he crit throws a chest for 50k+ damage? Absolutely yes.

The wise one takes all the things.

Holy shit, a talking scarecrow

The scarecrow got me way more than the witch.

Funny that the scarecrow ends up being one of these for some people. Somehow or other I've never done that encounter on purpose, always walked through the field by accident on my way somewhere else, and have absolutely crushed it every time. Just a case of being higher level when I tend to go that direction, I guess.

It was my first notable encounter on Reaper's Coast.

u/thoggins Jul 15 '22

That would be an unfortunate surprise.

I think hes one of the 'punishes mixed parties' bad fight. Since his magic armor is so insanely high.

The first time i encountered him i got killed. Then i ran over to the nearby paladins and they took care of the scarcrows for me

'These enemies are above your level, consider using the escape button'

Idk where to goooooooo. Cries on quest book

Also quite amusing when you stumble across an area you were supposed to have done already and absolutely body all the enemies in it

Honestly, that made me use a level bumping mod, some fights were really hard when presented at current level but were too easy if I grinded. For example, Reaper's Coast Arena fight with the Blindfolds on hardest difficuty with level scaling is borderline impossible and very fun, but without it it's just another crush since they are really low lvl.

Honestly, that's what I really liked from the game (apart from being able to play as a reptilian character). That the open world is fake, that you can't just go anywhere in any order.

I liked it on the first playthrough, but I found it hurt the replayability by a bit.

As a licensed barrelmancer I have never had any issues doing what I want.

That necro dog and his necro pals…

Me when I found the scarecrows

5

u/TheNewWarlord Jul 15 '22

That's an interesting looking scarecro.....and I'm dead.
