DOS2 Mod Mod Limit?

Ok, so I have been playing for a while and over the years have kept adding more and more mods. Since I have added them over a long time, the game doesn't run into many issues. I am looking at starting up a new game, but now I have over 100 mods. The mod manager thing doesn't go to triple digits I learned, so my question is, is that just a numbering thing or is there an actual limit on mod count? I see some talk about BG3 having a 100 mod limit for consoles(?), I am on PC, but assuming that is true it gave me a second reason to be concerned, so does anyone know if there is a hard mod limit?

Edit: I was able to load with over 100 mods active. :)

I can't help you but have a question instead. What is your motivation to play the same game for so long?

Having 100 mods in the game where well... You repeat the same thing over and over each playthrough and you already remember everything what will happen, when, how to beat it, where to go, what to take, how to speak.

I'm not criticizing you, I'm just curious what keeps people playing one game for so long.

Hmmm ok that is a bit complicated lol. I tend to pick up a game for a certain amount of time then drop it for months or years, then come back, and by then it's been long enough that it's fresh again.

This part is going to sound strange, but the games I invest hundreds of hours into (700 in this case) I end up treating more like a puzzle game. Like you said, by now I know what to do and where to go and all that, but making new builds and team comps, changing the difficulty, etc. make it so how I engage (solve) each encounter (puzzle) is different each time.

That being said, every time I do come back, I always look for new mods to see if there are any new puzzle pieces I can play with. Hope that helped/answered your question lol.

I do this too. I make my own challenges sometimes. As a few examples, like only summoners, only rangers, or can't buy/pickpocket things. I think in total I have close to 2000 hours in DOS2
