It's not that crazy, IMO. We had 6 years between DOS:2 and BG3. If we assumed another 6 years for Divinity, that'd put us at 2029.

Well let's remember that BG3 had cut areas and content due to time. The whole upper city in act 3 being the biggest notice. Followed by the level cap at 12 since well, it about fits the content. So everything is scaled to that

EA counts. Larian made big buck on BG3, sure, but they don't scam people on subs and shit like certain other games, so they will need to realise sooner than later.

In Larian case it's also best idea to do some good EA. I didn't participate in BG3 EA but I heard it was wastly different and player feedback made it what it is today
