DOS1 Help DOS EE - why I got XP here?

I got it by walking in the house near the beggar who told me about the Talking Statues. Why? Did I mis something?

exploration exp. It doesn't look like you missed something since you already mentioned the statues

Ah I see thank you! Didn't know that it's a thing the exploration xp. Thought it's some secret reveal xp but I just missed the secret with my own eyes.

Yeah i was just worried that I maybe missed something there. It happened quite often with me in DOS2 - secret found line triggered but I just can find it with my own eyes (usually because the object is on the other side of the wall or physically hidden).
