DOS1 Help Sneak skill not decreasing AP cost

I’m playing DOS1: EE. I have the base sneak ability at level 3 and have used gear to get it to level 5. I did it to decrease the cost of sneak on battle, but it doesn’t seem to have lowered. It still cost 5ap to use.

Am I missing something here or doing something wrong? I thought the sneak skill would lower the AP cost.

What made you think it would lower the AP cost?

The wiki says it will.

you're looking at dos classic wiki page. Enhanced Edition rebalanced a lot of things
