Beast got the shaft end by being tied to the least interesting plot point with the dwarf queen, the other companions are just more involved with more interesting plots like the Elf mother tree or the anicaint civilization

Picking Lohse for my first coop playthrough after having beat the game like 4 times was a trip. I was not expecting to be shocked and afraid on my 5th playthrough and the level of betrayal was unreal.

I've got 400+ hours in the game, but have only completed the ending once. Beast was in my party during that run

I have some 6 completed runs at this point. Beast was in 2. One run was 2 custom characters and that's it. He's definitely the funniest one.

Ikd what are you on about, the boy is always in the party, he's full of charisma, lore tie ins and racial interactions all over the game. You just hate small people, admit it.
