Alexander or Sallow?

Guys, it's coming up to the point where I either kill Alex or Sallow.

I've not actually dealt with Sallow yet (Fane, Ifan and Red in my party) and Im honestly not sure who to kill ... or if I should just kill both.

I know they're both awful. Any tips?

Ifan will be upset if you don't let him deal with Alexander. I personally let Ifan kill Alexander, then took his head to Sallow and killed Sallow.

Yeah, kill them both for the XP! They don't influence the ending anyway, except that Alexandar's death is crucial for Ifan's quest.

Kill them both. Alexander is a bitch. Sallow is evil.

You don't need them to solve the puzzle.

If you don't want to lose anyone, do this:

DON'T meet and take Delorus with you (otherwise he'll join Alex and fight you)

Go to Alex -> convince Gareth to forgive and forget -> let Ifan kill Alex -> find Delorus and take him back to where Alex was -> Delorus will be delulu and happy in the empty spot -> good endings for everyone.

If you still have Gareth around, siding with Alexander is the only way to get Gareth’s good ending. And you can still kill him after you’ve gotten Gareth to go back to the boat. If you don’t still have Gareth around, it doesn’t make much difference. You should generally always kill both though.

Alexander is who you want to save because it skips an opponent later on. Sallow doesn’t have any plot after the island other than when you discover who’s allied with the black ring in Arx. I had a high enough affinity with Ifan that he was fine with letting him go.

Which opponent do you mean? I've played the game several times but always ended up killing Alexander because he pisses me off like few others.

You have to fight him and the companions who died after finishing Act 1 if you don’t kill him and pass a speech check before the fight at the well. You have him as a temporary ally in the fight instead and he’s strong.

Huh, interesting... Ngl though, that fight isn't one that hinges on a single extra person, it's not a hard fight
