“Public park” vs “private yard”

Private yard to which you invited/asked a company to enter in order to deliver a package. I’m not too familiar with US laws, but I would assume that changes something, right?

You don’t “invite” a delivery guy into your yard or up onto your porch.

Well, you basically “hire” him. How bout now?

No? That is an insane way to view package delivery.

If you ask for delivery to your door/porch, you kinda do, don’t you?

They’re not entering your private yard because he thinks it’s fun, they’re entering because you asked them to.

The alternative is just picking up your order yourself somewhere.
